Arlington Artists Alliance members are invited to submit works depicting the theme “The Power of Nature.” Not only does the Earth provide us with everything we need to survive, like air to breathe and material to build our shelters, but it also provides us with inspiration for art. The complex beauty of nature has inspired many artists, whether in the array of colors in a sunset or the natural geometry of a pinecone. For this show, artists are asked to be inspired by the natural world and to interpret the beauty and importance of our natural surroundings: natural objects, wildlife, geographical, and natural environments. All media accepted. Cash prizes awarded. Please note that this show is open ONLY to Arlington Artists Alliance members.
